Da Monzone, settimana tappa della Via delle Fiabe, si arriva, partendo da Casa Minelli a piedi o in mountain bike, attraverso il percorso CAI n.7, nella suggestiva frazione di Frassineti.
Qui il Circolo frazionale, da sempre creativamente prodigo per il proprio Borgo, ha lavorato per mesi ad un progetto artistico partecipato di comunità.
La Leggenda delle tre castagne viene narrata attraverso un grande dipinto murale, realizzato su un muro pubblico lungo Via Serre; sono inoltre state collocate sulle case del borgo incisioni su legno di cedro del libano.
Incamminandosi lungo Via Serre il visitatore potrà inoltre scoprire ricette in dialetto, cibi antichi che hanno come ingrediente principale la castagna. Il percorso si conclude su una terrazza naturale, dove è stata realizzata una grande installazione dedicata alla leggenda, una grande tavola imbandita realizzata in legno di quercia dove è possibile sedersi e assaggiare “virtualmente” piatti prelibati ed ammirare un suggestivo paesaggio appenninico.

From Monzone, the seventh stop on the Via delle Fiabe, you arrive, starting from Casa Minelli on foot or by mountain bike, through the CAI path n.7, in the suggestive hamlet of Frassineti. Here the Cricolo Frazionale, which has always been creatively generous for its hamlet, worked for months on a participatory community arts project.
The Leggenda delle tre castagne (Legend of the three chestnuts) is narrated through a large mural painting, made on a public wall along Via Serre: engravings on cedar of Lebanon wood were also placed on the houses of the hamlet. Walking along Via Serre the visitor will also be able to discover recipes in dialect, ancient foods which have chestnuts as their main ingredient. The route ends on a natural terrace, where a large installation dedicated to the legend has been created, a large set table made of oak wood where it is possible to sit and “virtually” taste delicious dishes and admire a suggestive Appennine landscape.
